EAGLE is an Academy reference asset quoted against XLM instead of USDC. Comparing it with the USDC-quoted assets shows why the quote asset always belongs next to the price — the same token can look different depending on what it is priced in.

LIBERTY is a second live Academy reference asset, used to show what a thinly traded market looks like next to a deeper one. Note the high price against low 24-hour volume: the number is real, but you may not be able to transact anywhere near it at size.

MAGA is the Academy's reference Stellar asset. Every figure on the token desk carries the source it came from and the moment it was observed, so you can judge the number instead of trusting it. Verify the issuer address below before you add a trustline — matching asset codes from different issuers are the most common way holders end up with a worthless lookalike.

PATRIOT is retained as a second worked example of a retired asset. Its final snapshot stays on the record with the source and timestamp it was observed under — historic figures are never quietly deleted once an asset stops being current.
